2. Purpose and scope

This legal notice governs access to and use of the Maison Rare website. Browsing the site makes you a user and implies acceptance of these terms in the version published at the time of access. If you do not agree with them, please refrain from using the site.

3. Activity

Maison Rare is an independent intermediary dedicated to buying and selling collector watches and bags on the secondary market and to sourcing references on commission. Maison Rare is not an authorised dealer or representative of any watch manufacture or leather goods house. The brands, trade names, references and other distinctive signs that appear on the site are the property of their respective owners and are mentioned solely for descriptive and informative purposes, under article 37 of Spanish Trademark Law 17/2001, to identify the pieces offered.

4. Terms of use

Users undertake to use the site lawfully and not to use it for activities contrary to the law, good faith or public order. It is forbidden to introduce or spread content that may damage the systems of Maison Rare or of third parties, or to attempt to access restricted areas of the site.

5. Prices and availability

The catalogue lists pieces with the price on request. When a figure is given, it is an indication of the secondary market, is expressed in euros including taxes and does not constitute a binding offer. The availability of each piece is subject to confirmation: stock is unitary and a reference may cease to be available between the enquiry and the reply. Any transaction requires the express, prior confirmation of Maison Rare, and no sale, whether of watches or of bags, is confirmed without a prior deposit.

6. Intellectual property

The design of the site, its code, its texts and its own photographs belong to Maison Rare or are used with permission, and are protected by intellectual and industrial property law. Their reproduction, distribution, public communication or transformation without written permission is forbidden.

Some product images come from the manufactures’ promotional material and are reproduced for descriptive purposes. If you hold rights over any published image and wish it to be removed, write to maisonrare@maisonrareofficial.com and the request will be handled as soon as possible.

7. Liability

Maison Rare endeavours to keep the information on the site accurate and up to date, but does not guarantee the absence of typographical errors or of discrepancies between the published catalogue and actual stock. Nor is it liable for service interruptions beyond its control or for the content of third-party sites it links to.

8. External links

The site may link to third-party services, notably WhatsApp for commercial contact. Maison Rare does not control those services and is not liable for their content or their privacy policies.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute, the parties submit to the courts of the consumer’s domicile where the user is a consumer; in all other cases, to those of the owner’s domicile.
